Simon Ghalayini is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in surgery of the Hip and Knee, including hip replacement surgery, knee replacement surgery and arthroscopy of the knee.

Simon is available for private consultations at BMI The Alexandra Hospital and Spire Manchester Hospital.

His NHS practice is based at Stepping Hill Hospital, Stockport where he has been a consultant since 2011.

He qualified from Manchester Medical School in 1999. He has completed specialist training in Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery in the North West - including sub-speciality training in hip and knee surgery.

He is a Member of the British Association for Surgery of the Knee, a Member of the British Hip Society, a Member of the British Orthopaedic Association and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
