Mr. Sanat ShahConsultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon
Mr. Shah has undergone postgraduate training in Orthopaedic Surgery in Manchester and Southampton. He has obtained sub-specialty experience in hip and knee replacement, hip and knee revision surgery, and arthroscopic surgery of hip and knee.
He has also been trained in Robotic hip and knee replacement surgery.
He has been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Manchester Royal Infirmary since 2003, which is a teaching hospital affiliated to Manchester Medical School and University. He performs both cemented and uncemented hip replacement, knee replacement and both hip and knee revision surgery. He also performs hip arthroscopy and has a special interest in treating hip and knee problems in young adults.
Mr. Shah is practising trauma as well as elective orthopaedic surgery. He is also actively involved in teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Mr. Shah is interested in many sports such as cricket, football, golf and tennis. He also enjoys countryside travel and wildlife programmes.
